so i had an interesting day yesterday. after i got the downstairs guy to turn down his music (he barely turned it down and its loud AGAIN today) i dealt with jordans almost constant temper tantrum and then nearly avoided a fire! sometimes when i get jordan up i let him run to the kitchen since he never gets to go in there. i guess at some point he turned on the heated dry on the dishwasher and i didn't know it. i kept smelling what i thought was hot dot. sometimes if smelled like fire but i could not figure out where it was coming from and i didn't hear any fire alarms from other apartments. i finally open the dishwasher and tons of smoke and steam came out of it. turns out a wooden spoon fell down and jammed against the heating element and was charred on one side. i reran an rinse cycle to get rid of any smoke or toxins on the dishes and went on but it was definitely a wakeup call. ill pay more attention to the settings on the dishwasher from now on. josh brought home kfc and jordan liked it!!! i really didn't think he would like just plain old grilled chicken but he decided to surprise me and actually eat some lol. josh seems to really be feeling better. he's having less issues with it. I'm really hoping him being on the naproxen will help him to feel better again. i cant understand why they stopped giving him it! next thing I'm going to work on is his stomach. i think he should go back to his doc and get back on reflux medicine. he should try to get them to prescribe nexium or protonix. I'm sure he will feel so much better. he needs to feel good again, i know his health is really starting to bog him down and when he's down I'm down. i don't like to worry about him. my birthday is tomorrow, it doesn't feel like it. we are supposed to go up to moms this weekend but josh doesn't know if he's going to have off. i hope so since they are throwing the party and everything but if i don't have a way up there then I'm kind of stuck. id really like to go!
